So this has been a slow re-entry into the blogging world. Just when my loyal following is checking my blog often, I go on hiatus for a couple weeks. Well, the good news is, we're all in good heath. ALL of us have had sinus/cold issues and like the cold yucky weather, they are finally GONE. I am SO happy that the weather has warmed up. The kids have been playing outside for hours on end. I love the way the sun warms my skin, I just want to relish in every minute. I don't even want to think that in a few months I'll be roasting to death in the dry desert heat.
Greens are here! Lovely fresh lettuces and spinach, chard and beet greens growing in the greenhouse...
Food...Beautiful FOOD!
Heirloom tomatoes growing in our "community" greenhouse....My nephew has been working hard! This picture reminds me of a graveyard...
The guys have been making repairs to the greenhouse, cleaning and preparing the garden, planting greens and early crops, as well as getting the seedlings started. Busy busy!
Farmer Stuart (my nephew) over there workin' hard!
The tomato trellaces...ready for summer!
Hosanna helps harvest some greens...She's also been planning her little "garden". Her and David get a whole row to themselves this year.
Kids being kids....Oh the joy of playing in fresh sawdust...
And my little cookie monster. He's transforming into a boy so fast! I know...this is my third child..I should expect it...but I still can't believe it...
Now that we're all alive and well...Spring is here and we're spending a lot more time out of doors...I should have lots more exciting posts coming your way! Blessings for a good week to all!
XOXO Laura
