We've been having lots of snow in our desert habitat lately! Just a few nights ago we had 18 inches in less than 36 hours. I know my east coast friends might rightly be chuckling at that amount, but for us it's a lot! Hosanna's been asking since last winter to go sledding at the Coral Pink Sand Dunes ((remember last fall?) Well we finally made it out there and boy was it worth it!
David's checking out Hosanna making the long trek back up the hill to hand over the sled.
She wanted every turn to be her own but when she didn't get her way she threw the sled. It flew all the way down the dune. She was pretty tuckered out after we made her hike all the way down to get it, but still up for more sledding (and this time a little more humble)
Daddy was launching the kids and they were loving it!
Up, and up we go!
The sky was so wide open and bright blue. It was the perfect time to be there.
Love and blessings this winter day!
XOXO Laura
